Student Grants

Deadline for application: November 10, 2007 (tentative).

Grant support to partially offset the cost of attending ISAIM-2008 is available for eligible students who are full-time students at colleges and universities. To request support, applications should do the following:

  • Send an email requesting support to isaim2008 at cse.unl.edu. Please specify: Name, Affiliation, Email, whether or not the student is submitting a paper, the amount requested and how the grant will be used.
  • Have their advisor also send an email to isaim2008 at cse.unl.edu verifying the student's enrollment status and indicating the advisor's support for the grant.

Note that while in many cases we may be unable to award the full amount requested, we may still offer partial support. Students who are awarded travel grants are expected to attend the entire symposium.

Priority for grant support will be given in the following order:

  • Students who are first authors of accepted papers.
  • Students who are co-authors (but not first author) of accepted papers.
  • Students who are first authors of submitted (rejected) papers.
  • Students who are co-authors of submitted (rejected) papers.
  • Students who did not submit work to the symposium.
